To know when the next version of QuipuKit will come out and what features or components will be available in it, use the QuipuKit roadmap. Note, however, that this is our preliminary plan for future minor releases of the library and, therefore, it may change over time. Please also note that the roadmap lists only major features of these releases.

1.6 Release (August)

• Compatibility support for JBoss RichFaces.
• Fix for memory leaks under Internet Explorer when using the DataTable component.
• Reduce flickering when reloading components with Ajax4jsf.

2.0 Release (Autumn)

• Ajax API for reloading any components, invoking server actions, etc.
• PopupMenu component.
• Enhanced InputText component.
• Enhanced ComboBox component.
• Specifying validators with Hibernate annotations.
• Support for row freezing with body scrolling in DataTable and TreeTable.

Future releases (high priority)

• Window component.
• Panel component.
• Splitter component.
• DataTable/TreeTable filtering extensions (search by exact match, custom filter functions, etc.).
• Interactive column list customization in DataTable and TreeTable components.
• Add the nodeDataByKey attribute to the TreeTable (similar to rowDataByKey in the DataTable component for enhanced handling of concurrent data modifications).
• Support for displaying a checkbox/selection column with images instead of check boxes.
• Keyboard support for the rest of the components (TabbedPane, TabSet, FoldingPanel, Calendar, DateChooser).
