Hello
I am using QuipuKit 1.2, build.2167, 2007-07-27 19:58:30 GMT.
I recently upgraed from Firefox 2.0.0.8 to 2.0.0.10.
Now, the sorting/filtering feature on the databable does no longer work.
I get an error message in the Firebug console:
"table._focusControl.parentNode has no properties"
Source:
http://..../STOERMgmt/qk_internalResource/teamdev/jsf/renderkit/datatable/table.js
Line: 582
When I uninstall Firefox and re-install Firefox 2.0.0.8, it works again.
Regards,
Diego

Hello Diego,
I've tried to run QuipuKit demo version 1.2 and everything works fine. I've also tried test application you provided previously (http://support.teamdev.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5042Ꮂ ). It works correct. Can you please provide us with code examples so we can reproduce the problem. The working application would be the best option to reproduce the problem.
By the way, have you tried the latest version of QuipuKit? Does it work? You reported the problem with QuipuKit 1.3 (http://support.teamdev.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5624ᗸ ), but we were unable to reproduce it. Does this problem still persist?
Regards,
Tatyana
we were able to reproduce the problem with the latest version of QuipuKit, 1.3.1.
the problem seems to be related with Umlaut (german, e.g. öä).
i.e. if we have values in within a data table having umlaute, der is a message "An invalid or illegal string was specified" code: 12: nsresult... location /qk_internalResource/teamdev/jsf/renderkit/util/ajaxUtil.js Line: 415.
Find attached a WAR file to reproduce the problem and the source files as well.
Problem occurs in Firefox.
Regards,
Diego
Hello Diego,
It seems that the problem from your first post and the problem with non-Latin symbols are two different problems. We aware about the problem with non-Latin symbols. This problem occurs only in QuipuKit application with JSF reference implementation 1.2 + Facelets under Mozilla Firefox. We will do our best to fix this problem in QuipuKit 1.4.
Regards,
Tatyana
Hello Diego,
We have fixed the issue with non-Latin symbols in QuipuKit 1.4 which is already available.

Tatyana
